Lumen Collective runs structured, coed sober living homes in the San Fernando Valley — built for people who are done starting over alone.
Our mission
Recovery doesn't end when treatment does. It continues in the small, unglamorous moments — making your bed, showing up for a job, saying the hard thing to your housemate instead of walking away. Lumen Collective exists for that part.
We're not a clinical program and we don't pretend to be one. We're a home. A structured one, with real expectations and real support — but a home. Our residents build the muscle of everyday life: staying sober, holding a job, saving for a car, becoming someone their family can count on again.
What makes us different
Four things we do differently

Structured, not clinical
We hold residents accountable — curfews, chores, house meetings, drug testing — without the clinical distance of a treatment facility. Structure here feels like a home with house rules, not a program with a discharge date.

Coed and couples-friendly
Most sober living splits people up. We don't. Lumen Collective houses men and women under one roof, and we welcome couples working toward recovery together — because isolating people from their real support system doesn't always serve recovery. Community does.

Built for real life, not just sobriety
Sobriety is the floor, not the ceiling. Our residents are expected to work, save, and rebuild — a job, a car, a plan. We measure success the way you would: are you staying clean, and are you building a life you don't want to escape from?

What we're not
Worth saying plainly
We think it's worth saying plainly:
- We are not a licensed treatment facility or detox center.
- We do not provide clinical or medical treatment.
- We are a voluntary, structured sober living residence — a home for people continuing their recovery after treatment, or building one for the first time.
If you're looking for detox or inpatient treatment, we're happy to help point you toward a program — and welcome residents transitioning out of one.
